tritium fiber optic pins

I have been looking at purchasing this type of a pin for my hoyt havoc bow. Can anyone give me any feed back or their opinions on them. I am wondering if they really make that much of a differnece.

I used true glows tritium site last season. After using it, I would never go back to regular fiber optics. I hunt in big forest country, where the thick canopy blocks a great amount of light. Even during legal shooting hours the light levels are low. The tritium sight pin glows in the low light. I know of two products that carry it. True Glow and Eradicator sight systems.

I myself couldn't believe the difference. My fibre optic was shut down due to low light and my parteners was still glowing as if it were illuminated. One is going on my bow for this season!

That's because it was illuminated lilal..Tritium is a source or radioactive energy...don't worry they wouldn't sell it to you if it weren't safe. Tritium gives off beta radiation, just enough in the case of these pins to make certain chemicals luminesce or give off light.
You wouldn't want to eat it though.
Tritium has a 1/2 life of 13years. In that amount of time your pin will only look 1/2 as bright as a brandy new one...
