You have lots of time. Usually and I repeat usually deer become active about 45 min before sun down. If your out there at 4p.m. on a hot southern day take somethin to read with you. I plan to go around 5:00 Even then I may scout another area until about 6:30. With the sun going down so late right now you have plenty of time. I've been keeping a log of when I see my neighbor doe. (I have a doe that comes out in a pasture every day adjacent to my house) only problem is the land owners wont give me permission to hunt[:'(] but I live in a neighbourhood across the street. So, it gives me a good chance to watch and learn about her habits and I can apply them. Anywhooo you'll have plenty of time. Don't forget to do your homework.
