Default RE: What is the difference between these two arrows?

Ones faster then the other! Actually IBO uses a 70 pound draw weight at 30" with a 350 gr. arrow (5:1 ratio) while AMO uses a 60 pound draw weight at 30" and a 540 gr. arrow. AMO (Archery Manufacturers Organization)is a standard set to allow comparisons between bows and as the speed craze began people started shooting lighter arrows. IBO (International Bowhunter Organization) has set certain guidelines to promote hunting and their guidelines try to keep a more realistic (?) outlook at what the normal person might use in hunting now but still keep it safe.
This has been covered more then once and my interpretation may differ from others. If you do a search you should find quicker what has been posted.
