Would I hunt? Probably, certainly not like I currently do. There would be a lot less time spent in the stand, less scouting, less effort, certainly less satisfaction for me personally.

I don't expect everyone to feel the same way I do. Those that say shooting a matriarch doe is the same as shooting a mature buck just doesn't ring true with me. The numbers of mature does vs mature bucks alone makes it a different ballgame. Plus throw in those protective maternal instincts and it can make things a little easier to get a doe in bowrange. Again, it just isn't the same as trying for a solitary mature buck.

Or....skip the hunting season all together and shed hunt.......can I keep shed horns???.....that sounds the best so far
I'll expand on that idea....

I would hunt for one big doe a year...Hunt for the biggest sheds I could find...take the sheds and mount them on the big doe cape....OH YEA! THIS IS GONNA BE FUN!

I would absolutely keep hunting. This may be blasphemy around here, but I'm probably more concerned about going for meat during deer season anyway; I just want to use deer season to get me by until next turkey season!

Quit talking about this topic I am starting to get sick I don't want to think about something that won't happen. I leave that kind of stuff up to my wife. Matter of fact this sound like a question that she would ask.
Well why don't you go tend to her and quit responding if you're so tired of it?

Then I guess a two for one shot would be in play if things got that bad (As if they aren't already in my area).

I'd get sick of it..shooting does would get boring after a while. yeah, a mature doe is real hard to kill..but it just doesnt have the same feeling as whacking a big ol buck. sure, they taste alot better. a big stinky buck is good for jerky and the backstraps and tenders. on most does, all the meat tastes good. but i think we have something in our instinct that places a higher value on bucks.not just as a hunting society. ever since the first cave men were around. im sure they compared antlers once and a while. you can make tools out of antlers. they had a value. they still do. i think i'd give up gun hunting for does..only bow...i'd have to move somewhere where they allowed buck hunting...or start hunting there..take up a real sport..like golf..[:'(]
