Default He's A Big One

The other day i was scouting in the woods and i came across a big der track i measerd it 6 in long 4 in deep BUCK! The tracks were going passed my stand.


........BowSeason here i come

are you sure that wasn't a moose or elk track----lol

good luck,with a track like that he will likely field dress somewhere in the 350 to #400 range
J/K with ya-----welcome to the forums.And yes i have seen some pretty big tracks,hope ya get him this fall

6 inches????????? Is that including the dew claws? 4" deep?????? Is that in sand or really soft mud???

haha redneckin was trying to make me believe him in the chat room..theres no whitetail track that big. or deep...or 3 inches wide like he told me...i think it was two together or he's seeing things...smokey the bear says: leave the crack pipe at home next you scouting.

i've seen a track that big out here, but it was when i was walking through the cow pasture. LOL

I used to see deer that left tracks like that when I hunted in area 51. I'd be willing to bet the deer slid while making that track or rain "opened" the track to that size. My suggestion would be to arrow the pig and prove up wrong.

AH...you just never know. Could have been a couple of deer playing raindeer games! I can see it now. A little buck with another one on his back giving him a back pack ride.
Next time you'll see odd looking tracks...watch out for the wheel barrow racers.
