Default Drury Outdoors Dream Season TV.

I saw the Drury Outdoors Dream Season TV show this weekend on the Outdoor Channel. Anyone else see it? I am looking forward to watching it. They call it a reality hunting show. Guess since Realtree Roadtrips walked away with so many awards last year, we'll see more shows like it. I personally think Mark and Terry do a great job in their shows and videos. Heres the link for those interested.

I watched it & liked it. I also think Mark & Terry do a great job. I almost filled out an application for next years show. I figured it would eat up all of my spare time so I didn't even bother. I don't even think I would have a chance at getting on there anyway?[]
I would like to send them some footage of some western style hunting. Antelope, Whitetail, Mule deer, Elk & Black bear. I wonder if the footage was good enough? Would they consider it as a filler? On a show that lacks a few minutes?

I'd send it in if I was you. Only thing you have to lose is a vcr tape and postage. It might be worth it.

I saw it too! I've been a big fan of the Drurys' for a long time. I got all of their deer hunting videos. If you consistently take big bucks and hunt in the midwest then they will consider you to be what they call a sub-contractor for them, but your video has to be perfect. I looked up some of the camera equipment that they use and you are talking big bucks. Mark Drury will be at the Keystone Country Store in PA at the end of the month giving a siminar, I'm going and if you want I'll ask him what you should do if you want? Let me know.....

I would love to know his answer. I hunt in Montana. I have taken several good bucks, both mule deer & whitetail. I have yet to shoot one in the 170-class.[]
I do have some awesome footage of my father killing a 6x7 bull elk that gross scored 367. I have some great footage of three seperate antelope hunts. The largest buck killed had a net score of 79-5/8. The minimum B&C score is 80.[:@]. The other two bucks scored 72" & 74" I also have some footage of a 150-class whitetail buck that I let walk. On the video you can tell why. There was a bigger buck standing just inside the trees. He offered several good shots for the camera. He never did offer me a clean shot. That buck was hit by a truck & killed that winter. The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks game warden gross scored him @ 178".
The only states I could hunt & film for the show would be Montana & Idaho. I could also travel to the other states they have listed for there other hunts. This would really eat up ALL of my time off. I would love to do it. I just do not know if I would even stand a chance? I guess I will just have to be happy hunting these milk river whitetails. I will watch the shows when I can & buy the DVD when it hits the shelves.

Hey Wolfkiller, I will definitely ask him what you should do, I should be able to talk to him, usually before the seminars they meet and greet and sign autograph pictures. I'll let you know what he says.
