1. Knife..... had to gut a deer with a broadhead.

2. On a spring turkey trip to NY I forgot my long winter weight UNDIES. I kid you not. We woke up opening AM and it was 17 degrees and snowing sideways. I had NO long johns. We rolled over and went back to sleep.

i forgot my release twice last year and didn't realize it until i was up and settled and ready to pull back my bow to check clearance. that is a sinking feeling.

Gibblet... buy a second release one the same make and model you use. I carry a spare at all times in a zip lock bag in my fanny pack. You never know when one will break, fall from a tree or ...... be LEFT AT HOME.[&:] As far as that goes, when I take it off it gets attached to my bow handle/sling or somewhere on it.
