Public Hunting Land in Kentucky or S.C.

Higginson Henry in Union County Ky is a great place to hunt. There are quality bucks taken from there every year.Pretty easy landscape to learn too.I had a coworker bring in a deer to work that had been taken(at Higginson Henry) by his brother on the opening weekend last year that was in full velvet and in my estimation was a 160 class buck.
This is not the norm but is not uncommon either.Higginson Henry has a limit on antler size of 15" outside spread so the bucks have a chance to get a little size and intelligence about them. This also a bow only WMA.
I live about 15-20 minutes away and hunt there a little.I have killed deer there but no bigguns as of yet.If someone is planning on going,I may be able to help show you around if you give me a hollar and time allows.
I have also hunted LBL and woud take The little Higginson Henry over LBL anytime.

Yes on KY WMA's, just be sure you hunt in one of the Central or western Ky WMAs. We don't have much in the eastern part of the state , plenty of elk running around up here.
