Favorite thing I don't need would be my rangefinder for sure. Can hunt without one for sure but I never would. 1 minute after I am in my stand I have exact yardages at quickly visible reference points.

Compass! I don't really need it because i know our property like the back of my hand. I think it's more a piece of mind type thing for me than anything else.
