RE: Anyone have any tips on tracking for someone that is color blind
Thanks for all the replies . Last year was my first year bow hunting and I got lucky. I only shot at one deer and he dropped in sight. I looked for a blood trail anyway, but I never saw a drop. I'm not some young , over exiteable guy that is only interested in takeing a deer any way I possibly
can. I'm 44 years old and have a deep respect for all living creatures.
I always hunt alone. Someone always knows whre I'm hunting. I have never lost a deer, and I never want to. I just don't want to harvest an animal and not be able to find it. I will not take a shot at any animal that i'm not sure that I can make. However sometimes things happen beyond our control and I
want to make sure I'm ready when and if it happens to me.
Thanks again for all of yor replies.

A trick I learned in hunters safety is to use a coleman lantern once it gets dark. The blood sort of "glows" in the light from a colman lantern and should be easier to see.
