Gravity Feeders: Any suggestions?
Our lease is interested in adding 4-5 1000 lb capacity gravity feeders that we will use to provide protein supplements to our deer herd. I have looked into two brands, one by Outback Feeders and another by Bighornmetals.com.
Does anyone have experience with such feeders? Any recommendations?
thx.

You could build your own. In Texas they are called creep feeders. Basically just some 2x4s and plywood. You typically see them used to feed cattle. I'll try to find some pics.

Tealboy, if you don't get enough answers here try www.texasbowhunter.com in campfire section. There was even a big one for sale on the classifieds. These guys make some nice gravity feeders all the time and they have lots of pictures.
