I would check out a varity of different bows before you settle on one. If after checking out a bunch you still want the matthews, then go for it.

My wife will kill me if I bring home a new bow. Unfortunatly she knows how much this one cost, and that will soon be 4 years ago!!! I will be cut-off for sure.
My wife didn't mind me spending the $200 - $300 it cost for me to get my new Mathews Outback and get it set up. Honest Honey, I won't spend more than a couple hundred dollars! Her reply...Well alright if it's only a couple hundred.

So I did it!
