this is nuts............this thread can go on and on........about my deer.....so what......... it is a little deer.........

My 2nd deer I took weighed only 31 pounds, I was only 13 and hunting by myself with my 30-30, and yes I gutted it myself and dragged it to the truck by myself, I was so proud of my accomplishment, that I can remember the hunt to this day, and that was over 25 years ago. Since then i have taken my share of deer and elk, but this hunt is the one I remember most, and always will. CONGRATULATIONS BOBCAT ON FILLING YOUR TAG!!! I also got slammed by all the other hunters including the check station officers when they reached in the back of the truck with one hand and grabbed the deer and hung it on the scales, and still were laughing, but it did not make any difference to me, I still was proud of myself of bringing a deer down, just by my lonesome. All taste the same on a dinner plate, I take that back--- the smaller deer are a whole lot better eating...
