don't know if I am right or wrong, but I look at the target, and naturally you can see the sight on it, like I am looking thru the sight.

Target, you can't hit what you aren't looking at.

I think I tend to focus more on the sight pin though the target does look blurry in the background. I have not thought about it lately but can see where focusing on the target and letting the pin instinctively center itself may be the better route to follow.

Make sure you are shooting with both eyes open and focus on the target. You will find it much easier to shoot. At first use one eye to get level and open your second once you have. Pretty soon you won't even have to think about it.

Target and let the pin start to fade over center.

If you are shooting a pin and peep site method, focus on your site pin.

If you shoot pin and no peep, focus on your target.

If you don't shoot pins, focus on your target.

I shoot like that but I focus on the target. Is this wrong?

Target only, both eye's open! If you look at you sight the target will become blurry. Also you can't follow through with the shoot when focusing on the sight. With just one eye open you can't see your arrow flying strait or fish taling.
