RE: HYPERSHOCK 125
big bull, I don't think it would matter what broadhead you shoot if you hit em square in the shoulder you wouldn't get much penetration. I have shot them in the shoulder with thunder heads with little penetration and blood trail. Lost that animal.
As far as the steel drum test, I believe 5 shot stated that the blades on the head he used did not have the blades that would come from ones that consumers purchased, they would be thicker. Why they would give him a broadhead without the blades intended for consumers to use I don't know but that was what he stated. I Had posted a question a while back for 5 shot to see if he got the factory blades in and performed another test but never got a response. I think that would help to clarify some questions up a little bit. I am a little skeptical of these blades myself but am willing to try new things out. If we keep a closed mind and never try new things then we can never expand our knowledge. These may be the worst broadhead ever or the slickest thing to come around in a great while. I look at this broadhead in this fashion. when I shoot an animal with my gun, the entry hole is very small and most times the exit hole is large. Maintaining this idea I will be willing to try these heads. Just keep an open mind my friend and don't beat them up until we get more field tests from the upcoming season. Someone has to be adventurous!
