Well lets see...2004. Been Turkey hunting already. I'll be chasin Whitetails in Iowa and hopefully Antelope in Wyoming...if I draw my tag. Thats all for 2004. Going fishing in South Dakota, Arkansas and Canada this summer, does that count for anything?

Am planning on a first week in Sept Archery Elk bow hunt in Colorado. Then I must work 6 days a week till Nov 5. Then will hunt White tails on my farm in Wisconsin. Am trying to set up a Jan Mule Deer hunt in New Mexico. Any one that might be interisted in hunting with me in Colo. or N.M would be welcome. I will be bringing my Mules for the Colorado hunt.

Used to be a time when I went on several hunts a year, then I opened an Archery PRO Shop.[:@]
While it has its advantages, it does surely cut into the hunting season. Yes, I do shoot a lot of whitetails. I intentionally open the shop later in the AM so that I can at least get a few hours in the morning. Evenings are almost out of the question unless I can get my wife to close the shop for me.
Can you imagine how many deer I could shoot if I could spend more than a few hours in the woods at any given time????
The treat is teaching my children the sport. I think my hunting partners, Davidmil and Will, also enjoy them with me.

davidmil-I know how the business can be as I owned & operated 2 Pro shops/Lanes in 2 towns at the same time for 20 years. I had no time either & then I just set aside time for myself. I started taking 1 out of state hunting trip, 1 week of Whitetail hunting at home during prime time & a week of vacation with family. I snuck in a day or 2 at other times but very few. All work & no play is no good.
I have a close friend from Edgewater, Md. that we manage to get together for a couple hunts a year. He was with on the Buffalo hunt & took a fine Bull. The story will be in National Bowhunter Magazine in the near future. We will be on a Exotic/hog hunt this fall in Texas & another Buffalo Bowhunt after Whitetail season. This is my buddies Bull
