Default Mathews Outback!

I am looking into these bows right now , thinking of getting one for my bday , i know they r new , but does anyone have anything to say about them? I like the parallel limb design , and its still at only 31 1/2 inch A to A what a beaut... its either that or im gonna go with a new havoctec.

I just went through the bow buying process and shot quite a few. I ended up getting it down to the Outback, Bowtech (short one-Liberty?), and Vipertec. I ended up going with the Hoyt b/c I like short bows and compared to the others it shot much better for me (more forgiving). If you really like the parralell limbs check out the Bowtechs- shot very sweet. Vipertec just shot better for me.

Good Luck

I own an older matthews and question the designs of the newwer...
why the busse cable is served, why the 8" brace height, why 3.75 lbs
I like a smoother pulling bow....hoyt has come a to this and on the cheaper cousin reflex that seems decent.

I've had my Outback a couple months now and just love it! It's super smooth, extremely quiet, and almost no shot shock. I do some hunting out of a DoubleBull Blind and like the shorter bow. I've shot it a over a thousand times without a problem. You won't be disappointed if you get one!

Ditto on what Venom and rcd567 said. I've had mine about 3 weeks and have put aleast 1000 shots thru it and it's like it keeps getting better. I would highly recommend the Outback.
