Default to shoot or not to shoot???

I am currently at uni and I knew I wouldn't have time to shoot my bow cause of my work load, so I left it at home, 500 kilometres away[:@]. By the time I get back home my precious reflex would not of been shot for about 12 weeks[:-].
Will it be alright to pick up and shoot after sitting for so long? or should I get it serviced and the string checked out by my dealer prior downin a few porkers?

I think it should be alright but I just thought I better see what you guys reckon.

Thanks, Stalkin Steve

If it was in good condition when you left it it will be in good condition when you get back home. It's not going to deteriorate just sitting there for 12 weeks. Shoot away.

Depends on how much you shoot. I change my string twice a year and my cables once.

From the non-shooting aspect, it should be fine.
