Hey,,LX owners,,questions !!!!
Well..I said I would'nt do it and I did....Walked into the pro shop Sat.morning to shoot my SQ2 through the crony...and walked out with a new LX.Had some money burning a hole in my pocket.Oh well,,it's been about three years,so I was due
My questions are : Any set up tricks,or short cuts I should try ???.
I must say @ 70lbs. w/366gr. carbon this bow is quick !!,but a bit loud..
i don't think the string supressers are going to be enough.I was hopeing they would, because I don't want to give up any speed with my short
27.5" draw.I think limb savers are going to be a must, because of the vibration I'm getting/feeling in the grip.My SQ2 had SSSOOO much Simms
"stuff" on it,that it was VERY quite, with NO vibration left over after the shot. After I get the string and cables broke in I'll start adding the NAVACOM "goodies"
I will say this,,it's a very "meaty" bow.Should be very accurate,even @80% let off.
Let me know how you have your LX set up ????????

RE: Hey,,LX owners,,questions !!!!
I have mine set up with a simms modular stabilizer, For 3-D I also put a 6 in doinker after that. I also have a simms stabilizer enhancer on the back hole behind the stabilizer, I have limbsavers on the limbs. Watch out for putting a WC string on it. I and many others have had wear problems with the string from the roller guards. I beleive it is due to their serving techniques and the X coating. Good choice on a bow, I got the witches out on the first hunt, 300lbs of fresh elk meat was well worth the purchase.
