Mechanicals for guys with 50-55lbs of KE???

What is your actual KE? Is it 50? Or is it "so"? Sounds like your reaching a bit. There are too many good fixed blades that will fly great out of your set up. Why do you want to push it?

Double Creek, Why are you only considering Mech's especially with that KE? Just a question not slamming you in any way ok?

Just interested in giving them a try. Not for arrow flight, I've never had problems with fixed heads. But, from what I've witnessed, mechanicals leave a awesome blood trail.

I killed 4 deer last season with 2 blade magnus, but was not impressed with the blood trails I got. I'm hunting new territory this year and I want a broadhead that will give me maximum blood trails.

I am open to suggestions. MY KE will be between 50 and 55, depending on the weight I settle on. I am shooting 385grain Axis, 2003 Protec, roughly 63lbs.


Nub, I don't want to "push" it, that is why I am asking. I
