Default Arrow wraps or dipping?

Has anyone figured what the differance in weight is between the two? I usually have my shafts double dipped in white and one dip in clear coat 6" long. I have no clue what the weight of this is or how it compares to the commercial wraps available everywhere. Anyone know?

The wraps usually weigh around 8gr for carbons and 10gr for aluminums.

My wraps are 9 grains at 7inches. I only use 1/2 of them on my 3D arrows so that is 4.5 gr.

Not trying to be a smart aleck at all... but you could weigh your shaft before you have the next one dipped and then weigh it afterwards to get your number you're looking for. I know, you probably want to know now without having to wait to do that, so I understand your question...

Exactly. I figured I could do that. Problem is, I don't have any shafts that haven't been dipped.[&:] Thought maybe someone else had already thought of this.
