Paper testing
I was paper testing my new bow tonight. I couldnt get my Carbon Impact 6500 arrows to fly right out of it. They kept tearing, nock high. So I tried my old 2114 XX75 aluminum's and they flew perfect. I tried my dad ACC's and they flew good. I also tried my dads 2212's and they flew good. I then went back to my Carbon Impacts, and they were flying perfect, and I didnt change a thing. I have no idea what might have been going wrong but they are flying perfect now. I dont know why I wrote this, I guess I just wanted to let y'all know.

RE: Paper testing
It was probably confidence. I have an arrow with a light green nock. My other ones have dark green nocks. For some reason the light green one doesn't hit where the dark green nocks hit. I just thing since it is a different color then it will hit differently.[&:] It has happened a couple times and I just got used to saying this was my "bad" arrow. When I know I'm shooting it then I will mess up. I have to shoot it withough looking at the nock. I will then focus on the target instead of trying to figure out why the arrow will miss my point. I just got a 1" group as I said on another post. Confidence plays a big part in archery.

RE: Paper testing
I would assume you weren't shooting with your bow arm at 90 degrees to start.
After a few shots you "warmed up" and were hitting anchor correctly and holding your bow arm at 90 degrees.
If you bow arm is held at less than 90 degrees you will get what appears to be a nock high tear.
