Default AHHHHHHHH STUPID LITTLE BROTHER

I am so mad at my little brother. I went to go grab my arrows and he pulled my bow back, 58 lbs. He got it to 1 inch and decided it would be cool to let it go.[:@][:@] I hear a CRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCKKKKKKK. I look back and see my brother holding my bow. I am so P!ssed.[:@] I don't know if I should put some cash in it or trash it. How much does it cost to fix? Do you think it is broken. I can't see any visible cracks and can't get to the archery shop. What should I do? Sorry just had to vent A LOT!!

Are you saying that he only got it pulled back one inch? If so more than likely your bow is fine. Now if he got it pulled all the way back and only let it down an inch before letting it go, then that's a different story.

Do I even need it to be checked out. I cannot see any visible damage.

Did he pull it all the way back or did he only pull it back an inch before letting it go? I can't tell from your post.

Way back then upon return he says that he let it go from about an inch. I don't think so cause it sounded like a .22.

Then I'd probably take it and have it looked at. At least it was on the way down when it happened. I dry fired one of the High Country all carbon bows about 2 years ago and it turned out to be fine.

I would get it checked out to be on the safe side. Needless to say, be sure to keep that weapon out of reach of kids. Glad he wasn't hurt though.

The smartest thing to do would be take it down to your local pro shop and get her checked out as thats the worst thing that can happen to a bow...

I looked in a crystal ball and could see your bow. It is a goner. Will cost a fortune to fix. Throw it in the trash.
