Help me pick out a new bow!
I will be buying a new bow this spring and I am looking for suggestions or reviews on some bows.
Here are the specs it needs to meet.
-Bare Bow must be under $500
-Less than 35 in ATA and hopefully more than 30
-28 inch draw
-I will get 60lb limbs and max them out.
-Brace height must be more than 7.
-Not a lot of hand shock.
-Decent Warranty.
The types I will probably shoot in no particular order are: Pearson, Renagade, Bowtech, Mathews (Only the FX), Parker.
If anybody can suggest any bows made by these or any other company to meet my criteria it will be greatly appriciated.
Thanks-Sam

Hoyt. I just bought an ultra sport last month. Bare bow under $350, but just over your ata requirements @ 36". However, the DynaTec has an ata @ 32.5 inches, and the SuperTec is 35. Not exactly sure of the price, but I believe the DynaTec will come in under that. They are unbelievably smooth, quiet, fast and forgiving. Oh yeah, pretty accurate too. Also comes with a lifetime warranty.

I would suggest go to www.huntersfriend.com and just the list of models that might be what you want, then buy where you feel best.

I would try the FX with the 28" Minimax, however I'd suggest 70lb limbs as that cam brings the peak weight down 5lbs or so. You're going to have a hard time beating the smoothness of that draw in that price range.

I'm going to suggest a Martin Jaguar, a 2003 model will gost you roughly $199.97 here in Spokane, Washington.
34 1/4"
9" Brace Height
IBO - 300 fps with either the Dyna or Nitrous cams (Says 310 though)
Mass Weight - 3 lb. 4oz.
Optional 65% Let-Off
GREAT Warranty/Customer Service
Little to no vibration.
I love mine.

P&Y allows any let-off now, old rule was 65%, that has changed. You will find that at 80% you are holding less poundage , which means you can hold for a longer period if weight is a problem for you then I would suggest 80% let-off, if you are a strong arm and feel like the he-man stuff then 65% may be what you want, both will shoot great.
