I would suggest go to www.huntersfriend.com and just the list of models that might be what you want, then buy where you feel best.

I agree, it is a great site to check out.

I second what "elkfreak" had to say. Alpine ( I have owned 3) makes a really nice line of bows for an affordable price. I am currently shooting a bowtech and love it .....but they are higher in price. I am sure there are many other middle of the road priced bows to look at...as well

nuge, try several out and at different letoffs too! 80% letoff means you hold a little less weight at full draw, but many people including me, don't like that much letoff.....that is an individual thing. You don't have to be a he-man for 65%.

Should you be lucky enough to bag a Pope & Young buck it will be listed with the dreaded * next to it. lol
Aside from that, there are very few thing not to like about holding less weight.IMO
