Arthur P is exactly right. Sometimes my groups may spread out, buy my first shot seems to always be good, and that is really what you need to stive for, especially for in season shooting.

RE: How long have you been shooting?
I have been shooting for about 3-4 straight years in a row now, and I think I shot better when I first started than I do now! I love the sport and the enjoyment of being good at something other than SPORTS! All the kids at my school are sports jocks, and i'm a hickbilly i guess you could say. I look forward to many years to come enjoying God's wilderness and the art of bowhunting.

Seriously for over 30 years. Been shooting a firearm a few years more. Used to take guns to school for show and tell. If you tried that today you'd be arrested, jailed, expelled from school, and what not. Times change.[&o]

Been shooting 51 years, and still not very good. But I sure enjoy it. In 1964 I was in the army at Fort eustis, Virginia. Went on a leave with a buddy to northern New York to hunt wood chucks. Brought my 222 mag rem 700 along on the plane. Held it in my lap in a soft case. Nobody questioned it. I would be in jail today. Times have changed.

A lot of the kids had Winchesters hanging in the rifle racks of their pickups when I was in high school. Now we've got kids being expelled for having butter knives in their lunch boxes.[&o]
