Default fletching contact?

How do you know if you are getting fletching contact? I have a drop away rest and might put a helical on my arrows. But I am not for sure if I might get a little contact.

Lipstick works well too, just put on the rest, riser, cable guard, etc, and let her fire, if you have lipstick on your fletch, you know you have contact problems.

If you need some lipstick, pm Rack-Attack, I'm sure he can hook you up

Talcum powder or baby powder work's fine mrfritze just powder your arrow shelf completly don't worry what falls off because enough will stick to show if there are any contact from the fletching.

P.S. some might use water then powder

Spray athletes foot powder on your fletching, that has worked the best for me. With a drop away you shouldn't have to worry about it though. If it is set correctly the rest will have fallen away by the time the fletching needs to clear.
