I got my WB this year and didn't have to bother with trimming it at all. I don't think you really need to do it.

Adams:Remove the biscuit from the windage bar. Lay sissors flat on the bowstring side of the biscuit and lift and snip 4-5 bristles at a time working evenly around the circumfrence of the biscuit till you can look at the biscuit edgewise and the bowstring side of the biscuit is flat. On a tuned bow the biscuit loses less than 1% of the arrowspeed with 4" straight fletch. A trimmed biscuit will lose about 1/2% of the arrowspeed with 4" straight fletch. Good luck hunting!

Though I was laughly loudly after reading the first few posts I am glad someone gave him good instructions...

I don't use the whisker biscuit personally but have set many of them up for customers. Chris (5shot) might though. I do know that "JoePA" uses one on his bows but am unsure whether or not he trims it. I think the instructions given were very good.

i was at an archery shop before i purchased my first bow and the owner was telling me i should get a biscuit installed. He demonstrated one by placing an arrow in it and turning it towards the ground to show how easy the arrow goes through it....When i do this with mine, the arrow always stops with the fletching getting stuck in the bristles.....if you trim one will it pass through it that easy???

Another trick is use the biscuit made for aluminum with carbon arrows and there is less friction then trim a few bristles
