Default Bowtech Hush Kit

I like the looks of the Bowtech Hush Kit, and the Rubber Pieces that go on the limbs, do they stick to the limbs, I am looking for an altenative to the Sims Limb Savers for my Mathews thanks!

Jeff K,
They just slide on the limbs. But they require the limbs or cams/strings to be removed for application as far as I can see. But they really work!

From what I can tell they work just as well as the sims. I use sims on my other bow. However, Camo is right you will have to take your bow cams/strings completely off in order to get the "blocks" on since they completely wrap around the limbs. But if you get them I'm sure you local pro-shop can put them on for you. A good thought would be having them put on next time you get your cables and strings changed.

Well, could you cut them to fit around the limbs then do something to keep them together?? And can you order these directly from Bowtech or do you have to go to a dealer?? I like the idea that you can take them off!

And, this is the most Important would they fit the Mathews Limbs??

You can either buy them through an Authorized BowTech Dealer or directly from BowTech off their web site.

You cannot cut the VibraBlocks in half to intstall them. You'll need to remove the cam and idler to put them on the limbs. It only takes a few minutes with a good bow press.

They will definately work on Mathews limbs and most others on the market too.

Jeff K although it is a litle bit of a process to install the BT hush kit I feel that it would be worth it. I have had a few BT's and I really think BowTech figured it out the hush kit works great on my liberty so why not on the Matthews......

The 04 kits seem a little better than previous.

I would still opt for the sims on my bow

The 04 Patriot I shot had a noticeable increase in vibration over the 03 models. The addition of Limb savers and swapping out the hush thingies for leaches made a difference to me. This was the only bow I shot both ways.

The stock kit seemed to do a good job on the mighty might – a bit of a jump at the shot but much less buzz than the Patriot.

The Liberty was also vibration free – with the stock kit. But I don’t think that bow is producing much “noise” at the shot anyway.

I would still recommend the addition of limb savers and leaches or whiskers for the VFT and the Patriot.
