Agree with the Sims Limbsavers, and the Insulator Wrap but I have not had good luck with the string leeches. I shoot everyday (weather permiting) and they just don't last very long. I went back to the old GameTracker rubber wiskers for 1/4 the price and get 10 times the product life.

You may not need half of the things lited here, buy if it makes you more confident then use them. As for me I do not think a stabelizer helps my shooting. I shoot the same with it as without. But I use one cause every one else use's them.

My compound is a Hoyt ProTec. It has Limbsavers (they came with the bow), a second hand flipper arrow rest I got for $10, catwhiskers and a nockset I tied on with dental floss. $750 bow with less than $12 worth of accessories. That's all that I find necessary - or acceptable - for hunting. I add a stabilizer whenever I do some target shootin'.

for me the most valuable pieces of equipment on my bow are kisser button, the old rubber wisker silencers and my quicktune rest with micro adjust. the rest is the most expensive piece of gear on my bow, i'm a perfectionist that likes to tinker (too much) and that rest fits me perfect. I also have an older stabilizer, tru glo sight and an ultraknock.

Things I have I like and don't want to do without.

LIMB SAVERS
Detachable Quickee quiver and another bracket mounted on my stand
String Loop
Muzzy Zero Effect Rest
Short Stabilizer for balance with a Sims enhancer 2000 on the end
Fiber Optic Pins
Peep
Bow Holster
String silencers( I have the leeches but catwhiskers work just as well and last)

Things I have I never use

Extra Release(I still wouldn't leave home without it
Sight Pin Light( the battery died a year ago)
