It's off as soon as I get set up in my treestand.I use a Bohning 6 arrow quiver and mount it to the tree with a Quickee quiver screw in tree mount. To make this work, just but an extra quiver attachment for your bow,and take the Quickee quiver tree mount and screw it in where the Quickee mount is.Bohning does'nt make one of these tree mounts,so this works just great...Bob

You should keep your quiver off because tests have shown that it messes with your bow's recoil. Each time you remove an arrow, your arrow will hit 1 1/2 to 2 inches off target at about 40 yards, so just imagine what an emptied quiver will do ya.
I learned this from the North American Hunter mag

Mine is always on. Since I'm not stuck in a tree stand all the time, may be hunting elk, antelope, mule deer, or even calling coyotes with my bow, so it is always on. And as for the non-issue of changing impact point at 40 yards, it will be a very sad day when I empty the quiver out at one animal
Mine is also a 2 piece and as far as being noiser, haven't had an animal duck an arrow, so it doesn't seem to be too noisy. Is it too heavy with it on, not too me and I'm no muscle man
