Perfectly happy with my Darton. My next bow...Another Darton. Not bad coming from a former Hoyt and Mathews man. I'm converted!!!

Just curious, does anybody shoot a darton cyclone 3D? how do you like it? can you get it in a 41"a/a and a longer brace height?

bogobble,
I have a cyclone deflex. It has the same exact riser as the cyclone 3D but with longer recurve limbs. Axle to axle is 41" and the brace height is 8". The bow shoots very nice. Extremely forgiving, yet has decent speed. All in all a really nice hunting bow. You can put on you heaviest hunting clothes and still get off a nice clean shot without the dreaded arm slap. It's quiet on the draw as well as at the shot, has a nice wall and with the C/P/S system you can adjust the draw length in very small increments until the length is perfect for you.

My buddy shoots the cyclone 3D model and that bow is forgiving as well in spite of the somewhat shorter brace height (it's not much) and shorter axle to axle. His bow does shoot faster.

Hope this helps...Jim

i'd rather have seen a hot babe then more mud slinging ,i guess darton doesn't want to be left out of the hoyt /mathews advertising war. well at least it's not ten pages long!!

Thanks Jimimac. I'm thinkin my next bow might be the cyclone3D, LD, or the Hoyt Protec. I'm goin back to a longer a/a bow. my first bow was a PSE with a 41" a/a. I could shoot better with that bow, than any I've had since. everbody says brace height has more bearing on how accurate a bow is than a/a. I'm just not convinced of that. my first bow had around a 7" B/H. I'm thinkin that 41 inches is the main reason I was shootin more accurate with it.

Nice looking bow, but I'm sticking with my '03 UltraTec .
Hoyt is very hard to beat when you look at the details. Lot of nice bows out there though.

Maybe Darton hopes to get Mathews on Hoyt's back again. Then they can both try to beat them up. How's that. Three bow companies mentioned in one sentence and, I don't shoot any of them.
