I agree with Idaho. Move it a bit. Let the spot rest. Go saddle yoursefl in that stand and get ready for the 20 Mule Team.

If you can only hunt a few more times, there are really no consequences for burning the spot out. If you do, it will be fine by next year.

Yep, get in on top of them and pin them to the ground. If your arent going to be hunting it much, it wont hurt to get right in on them.

Oh man!! This one jumps out at me. I don't know what part of the country you're in, but if I were you I'd pick the best tree that put me in comfortable bow range of all the action, be sure to get up high and consider your approach - try not to hunt from a tree that you have to walk across where the deer travel to get to it.

Like I said, I don't know where you are , but chances are with that many does, there's got to be one coming into estrous anytime, especially the little ones. The rut may be about over where you are, but if there's that many does for every buck then some of them surely haven't been bred yet.

A hot doe. That's all it takes to pull the bull of the woods out and into bow range, sometimes.

Best of luck, let us know how you do!!!

That type of situation is definitely a confidence builder....but you still have to consider when they are coming through. I cannot tell you how many times I have been in a similar situation only to find out that the deer are coming through very early in the morning.

I also have the same problem, but i am hoping to solve it with the stealth cam. Just set it up today and I think it was a pretty good investment.

I'd split the difference from where you seen them this evening and where your stand is ,that way if they have a pattern they just might come back the way your stand is now ,or next time they might be a little closer to where you might move your stand to next. Half wayor less
