Default goldtip XT vs CX 300

Can't decide on which ones to buy. I know that the CX 300 are more money but are they worth it? Any opinions on these to arrows will be helpful. Thanks for your time!

After the last 2 or 3 dozen XT's I bought, I can no longer recommend them, nor will I use them.

I was going to look into the 3d pros .001" - but GT has left a bad taste in my mouth.

I've experimented with both and the CX's certainly seem to be the higher quality shafting. I shoot the CX 3D Selects and have not found a better arrow, period.

Rack-attack, what kind of problems did you have with them?

I personally would recommend you spend a bit more and invest in either the 3D Pros' from Goldtip or the Carbon Express 3D Selects. The extra QC and tighter tolerances are worth the extra dinero.

However between the two shafts you mention (XT's and standard CX) I would recommend the CX. The last dozen XT's I bought went south in a hurry.

They are not straight...

And if they are straight out of the box they do not stay straight for long.

Weight tolerence is good but otherwise they are no longer IMO a good arrow
