i just sold my 350 rancher and bought me a vinson 500 4x4 manual shift and i love it has tons of power and has high or low range.

The polaris is American, but the motors are Fuji ( japanese).

The polaris 600 and 700 engines are domestically made. I think they call them "liberty" engines.
One draw back to both of them is the lack of a recoil starter. Dead battery = jumper cables.

i bought a honda 400 4wd w/warn winch in '99 and it will go about anywhere.if i was to buy another atv, it would be the honda ribicon.

Without a doubt no matter which model, it would have to be a Honda. I have a Foreman 450ES with a little over 2K miles on it without the first problem. Yeah it's not the fastest or the best riding ATV in the world but when I am 10 miles back into the timber alone, I want something dependable to make sure I make it back to camp. With a HONDA I have no worries!!
