I usually try and stay in stand until 10am. It gets light around here at about 7am. Do you guys have a time that you shoot for?

Early in the season I' ll get out around 10:00 or 10:30 then head back to the stand around 1:00 or 2:00, but come the end of October I usually stay all day. There is just to much daytime deer movement going on at that time of the year to be anywhere else but in the stand. You can' t get one if you are back at the house...Of course, I didn' t get one even though I stayed in the woods...[:' (]

I sit until I really start hallucinating deer everywhere. I swear I can make a deer out of anything in the woods. Usually like the others 10:30 - 11 then back at 1:30- 2:00

In the EARLY season when it' s really warm, I' m headed down as soon as I read 9am on my watch. I move to 10 -10:30 when the time changes and then all-day from dark to dark for much of November.

I like to hunt until about 1030 or so but since Jerry Springer starts at 10 I try to get out of my stand by 930.

I wish I could stay longer than 10a. This is even a huge stretch for me for some reason. Maybe I would get more deer, but I can' t do it. I get back in the stand around 3-4. Maybe if they actually made a stand you can sit in all day, I would try it.

I try to stay until at least 10. However, it is getting real tough to stay that long anymore since the weather has turned cold. It' s hard to stay warm when the temp is in the single digits and there' s a brisk north wind[:' (].
