Default Trophy Ridge VIPIN Sights????

I have been tossing the idea back and forth of buying a trophy ridge VIPIN sight. I have been thinkin about the Nitro Extreme. I was wondering if these sights were hard to set up? Is it somethign that i could do on my own time? I am looking for any feedback.

The TR Vipin Matrix sight is one of the easiest sights to set up. Just make sure you have enough clearance for your vanes. When you lower the pins for the farther targets....the fiber optic for each pin drops (loop) down...you' ll have to be careful that your arrow or vanes don' t contact it. I broke one of my fibers when using a helical fletched arrow (it was a pain to align the arrow so it wouldn' t contact my 3 prong Bodoodle, and the fiber optic wires).

Some users claim that the sight always become loose after a dozen shots....some of them have used loc-tite on the bolts. I haven' t had this problem.

I love mine. Ridiculously easy to set up, glows like a Christmas tree and the only time it got loose was when I put the extension bracket for my quiver mount on the bow. Screws were so long they allowed for play.

YOu love em or you hate em!!!!! I love em. I have the nitro extreme. Love the sight. I' m thinking of upgrading to the matrix with 0.19 pins.

VERY easy to set up. As said before...make sure you have enough clearance from your arrow before shooting.

Also said.....the sight becomes loose after a few shots. As far as I know...they have fixed this problem on the newer sights. I have the older model and yes....it happened to me. I called up Trophy Ridge....best customer service I' ve ever dealt with. They had replacement parts out to me in no time at all. Great to deal with. I' d highly recommend buying this sight. I think you' ll enjoy it.

I LOVE mine and don' t ever want to go back to horizontal pins. You would certainly do well by putting one on your hunting rig. you simply won' t find an easier sight to set-up. [8D]
