Late season tactics
Just wondering if you guys have any tactics for late season bowhunting. The area is North Central Wisconsin and the time will be during December. Tactics for bucks I mean, I always seem to see does.

I love late season hunting. Food sources are scarce, and tend to concentrate deer.
Find a good food source that is being used by large numbers of deer. If possible narrow down where deer are entering the source. Try to find large hoof prints, and back track them into the woods, looking for a rub trail or cluster of rubs, such as those commonly found in a staging area. Set up and hunt afternoons only.
That' s my plan

if you have a food source go for the tall stuff like corn or alphalfa or something like that. i have also learned that you should stay out later in the morings than normal.
