RE: Any way of making bow faster???
If he is shooting a bow like the first one that I ever bowhunted with I can understand why he wants more speed. I had a Old golden eagle and due to that old bow and lack of experiance I missed two deer that year, well accually like 3 but two I say was the speed of the bow and this is why, I had shooting lanes with nothing in them through the sites. I was in good brush and I those two times I hit branches up above were I saw through the peep. I think back now and even if I would have seen them before I drew I wouldnt think that I would have hit them. I think that think only shot like 170 fps or so.The trajectory was just terrible. I now am shooting about 295 and think that I am going to dial that down cause I heard that even tuned arrows w/broadheads can plane a bit at that speed, but accually I dont have any problem with it.

Oh sorry forgot to answer your Queston. I agree with RangeBall theres not much you can do to change a bow that much. But you could try to get as much draw as you can and switch to carbon arrows if you havent already.

I wouldn' t worry about your speed too much. I killed a nice fat doe this fall at 30 yards with a 20+ year old PSE 2 cam. It is set at about 50 lbs, but the arrow went straight through the deers liver. I found her within a short distance after waiting a half hour.

Thanks guys for the input...i havent killed a deer yet this year but i am very accurate. i will probly keep bowhunting with this bow and maybe after i save some money up i will be able to buy a new one. after reading all ur input it does make more sense to be more accurate and quiet than fast.
Thanks again
