Default Timber Tall climbing stands?

I saw these in the Kestone country store magazine. these are the lightest climbers I' ve seen. they fit trees 8" to 24"
baby brute lite-- weighs 11 lbs- platform 18" x27" weight limit 250 lbs( for small hunters)

Ledgen Brute lite- weighs 14 lbs- 19" x29" - weight limit 300 lbs. got my eye on that one.

super brute- weighs 17.5 lbs- 21" x29" - weight limit- 350lbs.
the seat is a sling type seat like summits, but it has no cushion except the back rest. if I get one, I' ve got a summit air cushion seat that I' ll put on it.
that 14 lbs sounds awful good to my bad back.[&o]

I' ve been looking at these for a while now, but never seem to see anyone on here talking about them. I' m wondering how quite they are.

I' ll pay the $300+ for a light AND quite treestand. 11lbs, I could carry that thing for miles.

Yeah, I asked this same question a couple months ago on the gear review forum. Got some interesing replies. I don' t have time to post a link at this moment, but if you do a search for the last few months, you will find it.

Good luck,
BJ

I have never seen them in person, but, I must admit, the weight of those things looks AWSOME!!!!!!

Now, I did read a review on them in Outdoor Life awhile back and it wasn' t good! If I remember correctly, they said that they are pretty sturdy and quiet, but, they also said that they are the hardest stands to setup. I guess that there are little parts that you can drop while setting it up. The Outdoor Life crew said that it is practically impossible to setup in the dark and if you want to hunt in the morning, you should put it on the tree the evening before! Not exactly a problem that I want to encounter while out in the woods!!!!!!

Bell Island, I heard the baby lite was for real small hunters, and the top part was easy to slip if you stood up.

on another forum there was one who didn' t like them(he had the baby lite), and the rest said they were the best stands made except for the seat which is not cushioned. but the seat could be easily modified. I don' t know about ease of hookin to the tree, but in the catalog it said they were easy to hook up even in the dark. but that' s Timber Tall talkin to.
hookin up in the dark would be no problem for me, cause when i want to hunt a mornin stand I' ll hang the stand the evenin before.
