Default Measurements of my 10 pointer

I was just wondering i have the unofficial measurements of my 10 pointer which is 108 1/4 this is my first big deer is that a go score they had deducted 7/1/4 points from the score. The check in station did not weight him but we had the dressed out weight around 195lbs is there any way to figure the weight before he was gutted.
This is a Massachusetts deer and when people see it they think he is quite big . I am just wondering what your thoughts are.
Thanks Madman

Congratulations man, nice buck!

As far as live weight goes....I have a chart somewhere that tells you what he would have weighed on the hoof, but I can`t remember where it is.

195# dressed would probably be around 240-245 live weight. A big one!

Nice buck. I have a 8 point that looks just like him, scored ~100. Get to see him everytime I walk into my house.

Nice buck, madman!I' ve used this formula and checked it against a scale and it' ll get you within 5#+/- of live weight.Multiply dressed wgt. by 1.25 and add 4#.

I say that' s a beautiful buck, no matter where you go. Some people might pass on a deer they though only scored 100 points, but that' s their choice. Nothing wrong with waiting for a P&Y buck, or one that scores 140, 150, whatever. On the other hand, there certainly isn' t anything wrong with shooting a deer like that either. In fact, most people(myself included) would be tickled with a deer like yours. I know I would have dropped the string on him this season if he walked by me. Nice deer, and a big body too!
