I was just getting ready to type " Don Kisky" and I read your post [8D]. He' d be near the top of my list.
Also in no particular order, the Wensels, Michael Waddell, Mark and Terry Drury, Dwight Schuh, Greg Miller, and Bill Winke.
At the top of my list would be my Dad' s father. He passed away about 9 months before my first deer season. Every time I take a deer, I think of him being there with me.

Ok, in all fairness the question does ask, " what famous hunter would I like to hunt with," so playing the Jesus card was a little off the mark. I would still like to hunt with him, but to address it as famous hunters I would say there might be 4 people:
1. Roger Raglin
2. Will Primos
3. Stan Potts
4. Dave Watson
I would not even want to be at the same camp as Bushman, Jordan, Waddell, Miller, or Ted.

Yeah, Horn Hunter, from what I' ve read of Schaeffer, he would hve been great to hunt with, if for no other reason than the sure-fire adventure. I' d emend my list to include Jay Gregory as well. I don' t know, I just really like the stuff I' ve seen him involved in.

Who wouldn' t love to hunt with Fred Bear if he were alive ?
Currently, I' d choose Chuck Adams ... the man is an absolute monster when it comes to bowhunting and killing the big ones.
