A buddy brought me his deer he had shot last weekend during the slug season. Upon futher examination one hoof ( leg ) pointed backwards. Someone must have shot it in the leg last year and broke it. When it healed, the leg was totally turned around facing the opposite direction. He said the deer was walking fairly normal before he shot it. Kind of tough to track hugh.

Good Luck!

i shot a 6 pt during rifle season and when i shot it rared up and looked like you shot that buck out of cannon and it was out of control flying thru the woods. we went to track and found the deer ran threw 3 strands of barb wire and ripped the staples out of the post and the deer was on the other side of the fence.barb wire went down the side of the deer.hair everywhere.

go deep hunt hard.

I used to live with some people that had a unique car/deer accident. Heading to town a really big buck was coming down a bank headed for the road. The old lady stopped thinking she would let the deer pass and not hit it. He ran down the hill and rammed the side of the truck with his massive rack and did $2,000 worth of damage. Guess he wasn' t having a good day. He hit the truck so hard it knocked him back into the ditch. After a few minutes, he stood up, shook it off and ran back up the hill.
