Well here is the story. I thought it was going to be a long day when all of a sudden i heard branches breaking but I could not see anything. So i started to grunt alittle then about 10-15 minutes later i looked up and here he comes straight at me. At this time i could only see the horns and not that he was a 10 pointer. I grunted again then he started to rip up the gorund and then began to move closer . I had him at about 25 -30 yards out and the shot was not what i had imagined , but i had one a week earlier and let him walk bye for a better shot but he never gave me one instead he walked the other way.
He was not going to stop this time either so i grunted with my mouth to stop him then i let the arrow fly. I thought the shot was alittle high but after skining him i had actually managed to get a perfect double lung shot. About a half hour later i began to track him blood everywhere so i new he was down but still did not know what he was. When i found him i could' nt beleive it i actually had to count them twice to confirm the 10. I have been seeing him on my deer cams for the last three years.
So there you have it the whole story then the hard part came dragging him out.
Just kidding i went to get my tractor and threw him in the bucket.
