i went to illinois to coon hunt for 2 nights with my scousin.we treed 12 coons.well while we driving down a backroad.chopped corn on both sides.it was night time to.we went around a curve and seen a monster 8 point had a 21 inch spread.and we seen several more preety good size bucks.millions of does.while we was out coon hunting i seen 7 inch trees that had rubs on them.monster bucks.then i found scrapes.more rubs and tons of trails going to corn from the woods.my scousin said he sees big bucks all the time but the other day he said he seen the biggest buck around .he said it was the grand daddy of them all.he told me that the bucks rack had to be 34 inches wide and was real tall.he counted 30 points before the deer went off into the woods.non typical buck. he said if someone killed that buck,it would be close to illinois state record or might just break it..this buck was only seen at night ,nocturnal buck,, seen two times ...i will go to illinois next year and try to kill me a biggin.

it' s an illusion we dont have any big bucks in illinios all we got are dinks ,just a bunch of spikes so you would be better off just staying at home no sense traveling to shoot a dink

No, Bob is telling the truth, they' re tiny. The biggest I' ve seen is probably about the size of that walker hound. Racks are almost non-existant, they little bitty. You can' t even see the rack untill you get to the deer after you shot it. If I were you, I wouldn' t waste my time.

i dont want you comin here killin my deer so ill say all we have is dinks. But ive seen two trophy bucks this week. the first one was the biggest i had ever seen in my life, until i saw the second one tonite, which i got on video. So as soon as i get the software for x mas ill post the video of it.

This weekend my buddy got close to the big 5 x 5 we' ve been seeing and once again verified 30" spread and probably 20" G2' s. Had him at 25 yards but couldn' t pull the shot off. [:@]

Hopefully noboby gets him next weekend during the slug season so we can get back out for some late bow season and get another crack at him.

Hey JZ, where was that buck at? I' d be glad to take him off your hands for ya. Cause I know you don' t want to have to drag him across a field, and then have to get a mount done, too much work.
