1st bowkilled buck
I got my first buck ever this a.m. I got a doe last year and was out of meat. I called this decent sized 5 pointer in with the can and hit him broadside. He squatted a little and the entry was high and the exit right in the middle. He ran right past my stand and expired in some water 40 yards away. Great entry and exit holes from the Rocky Ti-100' s, but it took 20 yards to start a blood trail. After that it looked like someone poured it out in buckets. I couldn' t find my arrow on the pass through. I don' t know if it hit a log on the ground and skipped off, but it' s an ACC so I really want it back. I will scour the area with a rake next time I' m there. I' m so stoked. I had been really disappointed so far this year and had mishandled some opportunities.

The pics I have are awful. I wouldn' t embarrass myself by putting them on here, if I knew how. No classic poses. I didn' t have the camera while hunting. I stopped by the house and took a couple of pics in the bed of the truck because I was in a rush to get it to the butcher before a previous engagement.

Way to go !
My first bow buck was a high lung shot - not much blood for awhile, then lots - sounds a bit like your experience .........
hope you find your arrow - mine went way past the deer since I shot from the ground ..... I found it though, before I found the deer.
