Default What do you do with coyotes?

When I shoot one I usually leave em where they fall, but this seems wrong to me. Do you guys skin them or ??

I like to let them walk by so my hunting partner can shoot em and scare all the deer off --- 7 times. That sound about right there Philbert8? haha

some guys i know skin them during winter when their pelts are full, however the most common practice is to leave them lay. they are dirty and could have lice so i don' t touch' em.

i' ve spent more $ on shells plinking at the yotes ...anymore i don' t even shoot at them.

Where I live, there is a big army that goes out coyote hunting during the winter. A few years ago we got something like 70+ yotes in a few months. A lot of times they skin them and sell them, don' t get a lot but it' s fun none the less.

The problem is this deer hunter x27.

Coyotes are a nusiance. They eat crops, livestock, deer, and pheasants, to name a few things. They are dangerous to children and pets. And they breed fast.

I see them as nothing more than bigger rats. I personally have never killed one but will not hesitate to kill it and leave it.

I shot one a few years back and was going to get it mounted for the hell of it but I ended up just tossing it out. I would however like to get one made into a rug if he' s got a nice pelt. Once I get that done if I shoot another one I' ll probably drag it out into a field somewhere and leave it for the crows. Coyotes are alright to have around, just not in the abundance they are today.

That is a strange! One day while sitting in my stand, I heard one coyote say to another coyote the very same thing about humans.
