I know northern white tails get that big, but I will be honest and say that if they were that big in Va. I would never hunt with out a partner to help me drag that horse out!

Have not heard a word about that Monster. Sad to say about 2 1/2 weeks ago my local Monster became a hood ornament for a truck about 1/8 mile from my bow stand here in Rochester, NY. He was 285 lbs. & 13 pts. worth of What a waste, my son, Joe had a Muzzy 3 blade 100 gr. honed for a vitals pass-thru!!!

Navy....

My MN doe was 195lbs dressed out.
It' s not that I' m callin you a liar, but I have lived, hunted in MN my whole life and I' ve never heard of a doe even coming remotely close to that. I' d have to see it for myself. She must have been a 18 1/2 year old.

Heck taz, I don' t know if two hunters our age is going to be enough to drag that monster, I was thinking about a helicopter or something.

I know your going to think I' m nuts, but several years ago early 90' s.? I read an article in a paper or magazine of a doe killed in Indiana that weighed 400 and some odd pounds live weight. Article went on to say that she had a thyroid disorder that caused her to get so big. Don' t remember a picture though so I was definitely skeptical.

I seem to recall that one of the Leonard Lee Rue Whitetail Deer books I had as a youngin stated that the heaviest Whitetail ever recorded was in the 400 & teens range, IIRC. Had a picture of the beast too...shot in the 50' s I believe. Thing looked like a cow.

So I guess 404 is not out of the question.

Six years ago I shot a doe that weighed in at 193lbs field dressed! I' ve seen plenty of others that hit the 200lb mark taken by other hunters. Being from Wisconsin I dont see why Minnesota would be any different.

I too, shot a doe about 6 years ago that went 175 pounds dressed, so I know that it is possible.
