Default Trail Cam Pix

Here are a couple pix from one of our Trail Cams out in JoDaviess County, IL.

I' m pretty sure this is the same buck, but you never know. The side profile was taken 11-04-03 and the closeup was taken this past Sunda 11-09-03. The head-on shot was on a trail not more than 60 yards from our campsite where our trucks were parked. Obviously this big boy didn' t seem to mind. Judging by stand sightnings and angle of the sun I' m guessing it was taken sometime between 10:30 and 11:30 am. The one hour when he left camp to get some food before returning to our stands around 12:30. doh!

I don' t think I' ll have a problem making room for him.

If you notice in the closeup picture, he' s got a faint double throat patch. That would like pretty nice hanging over my fireplace.

Very nice deer. I would put money on that being the same deer.
