Default November 1 buck

Got this guy on November 1st this year. got up late and threw my clothes on. Drove to my hunting spot and the sun was already rising. There was alot of fog so I snuck down to the closest stand I could get to. I didn' t kick anything up so I tied my bow off and climbed the tree. About halfway up I looked over and saw this buck coming straight to me at 60 yards. I use lockon stands primarily and I still had about 12 pegs to go. My stand in between a split tree so I leaned back against the tree behind me and pulled up my bow. I was about 12 feet off the ground.
I pulled up my bow and knocked an arrow. He kept coming....
I drew the bow as he lowered his head and he began to quarter. At 15 yards I put the arrow just in front of his left shoulder and it came out of his heart. He jumped about 6 feet then walked 10 steps and dropped.

My entire hunt took about 5 minutes. After the shot I had to grab the tree because I was shaking so bad What a morning.
He is an 11 point and dressed about 175

Congratulations. That is a great buck and probably the shortest hunt I have ever heard of.

Too bad you shot him with a Mathews....

Great buck dark...Awesome story too. A very similar thing happened to my buddy years ago. He was caught halfway up the tree and still managed to maintain his composure and eventually took the deer. Congratulations on a gret deer. Jim
